Today, we introduce Farang, an AI research lab founded on a fundamental architectural breakthrough. Our work, culminating in a proof-of-concept in early 2025, moves beyond the limitations of the transformer and opens a new path toward more capable and efficient artificial intelligence.
Farang was established by veteran AI researchers and engineers to solve the hard problems that current models cannot. We are not iterating; we are architecting from first principles. Our proprietary architecture prioritizes the cognitive abilities that matter most: long-term memory and causal reasoning, rather than relying on brute-force scale. While the industry has been defined by a “bigger is better” approach, our technology proves this is no longer the only path to state-of-the-art performance.
Our mission is to build the models that can tackle specialized, intricate domains where today’s AI falls short. We believe the future of AI should be collaborative and accessible. In contrast to closed, proprietary systems, we are committed to contributing significantly to the research field by publishing our findings and releasing open-source projects.
This is the start of our journey. We invite you to follow our progress as we work to build the future of intelligence.
